Let's not make this complicated. The recommended way of running lilypond
on the command-line is to follow the instructions on:
http://lilypond.org/macos-x.html
Yes, there are other ways of doing it. But just point people at the page
they downloaded the binary from in the first place! if those instructions
are invalid or inferior for some reason, let's talk about that and fix them.
