Chords may positioned over notes / rests / lyric syllables (absence of
notes).
Chords may also be positioned over beats (no note / rest / syllable). In

case, for instance, a whole note may be shown in a 4/4 measure and a chord
appears over the second beat of that same measure.
In each positioning case, the chord symbol and/or diagram may be
left/center/right justified over the positioning entity.
I could not find tests that verify correct chord positioning.

Sorry, Bill, I don't follow what you're getting at. Are you reporting a bug,
requesting an enhancement or what?
