The patch on comment 10 does compile with a make doc on my ststem.
I am not sure which patch exactly you are having problems with but the
patch on comment 10 seems the same as on
http://codereview.appspot.com/4951062/.
I can only think that you are having problems because of something like the
fact you have the earlier *.mf files still in your tree?
Run git status with a fresh git pull and make sure you have nothing there
at all that git still thinks needs commiting/adding. I use lilygit.tcl and
even if I use the 'reset' option, *new* files that were added (for example
new *mf files or new reg test *ly files) are not deleted. They have to be
deleted manually.
Then apply the patch and make a new build dir and start again.
