I am just writing the convert-ly rules. I noticed that the context property is called stringTunings, but the commands I replace with \stringTuning are called \makeStringTuning and \contextStringTuning. The original author of the API apparently got so confused that even the documentation talks about \makeStringTunings and \contextStringTunings mostly.
