awesomeness. I'm slowly getting some lab computers set up to compile lilypond (it's slow because I don't have root, so whenever I discover I need another library I need to email computer support so they can add it to the package manifest), but hopefully I'll be able to compile and test it on Friday.
("hopefully" because if it's not working by Friday, I'll need to wait until Monday morning)
