ask for help on the -user list, I guess? I'm not suggesting that the bug squad needs to personally verify all issues themselves; all I want is that the bug squad handles/organizes the verification. About 90% of issues can be easily handled by the bug squad themselves; for other issues, either ask for help from -user or -devel.
If an issue hasn't been verified for a week, I want you guys to make a fuss about it; I don't want to ever notice that we've got unverified issues.
