\override DynamicText #'extra-spacing-width = ##f gets space in there. As for the vertical collision, there's no good way to make it work - even if the beam-collision-engraver picked up on text (which it probably should), there is currently no way for the beam to force more vertical distance between the staves to avoid this collision.
