It turns out that through messups in writing the Changes entry for issue
2240, this patch was required to push to staging as
f2bd717cbca1a2f3d00b2dc37eca5be39c6e2c33 in a side branch.
While this means that there is point in putting this patch into a countdown
or into push state any more, it does not mean that this foulup was intended
to skip review. I am changing the state to "review" and will leave it
there for a few days before closing this issue.
