Following small example causes Lilypond to spit out "programming error:
hyphen not finished yet" [1]. Please either fix this bug or disallow the "_
--" pattern for lyrics and print a useful error message.

% correct:
foo -- _ bar
% causes "hyphen not finished yet" error:
foo _ -- bar
}
