If one applies \prall to a 1/8th or longer note, on the first 1/16th, it is starting on the main note for a 1/32nd, followed by another 1/32th note with the upper auxiliary, followed by the main note until the end. But what happens if the whole duration is a 1/16th? Then, in Balkan music at least, one simply skips moving back to the main note. But it seems that articulate.ly tries to squeeze in a 1/8th note and then "going back in time" to adjust for the additional 1/16th note.
