Forgive me for being a bit scatter-brained. This specific behavior of midiMaximumVolume=0 is not so bad, and my statement about dynamic levels is valid, but irrelevant, since this does not set the dynamic level. (I think it would be useful to have a \tacet dynamic that is implemented as forcing the volume to zero—which is consistent with the fact that I actually did that in a score some months ago.) In short, the lyric placement is still a bug, but I am satisfied with this workaround—so far. — Dan _______________________________________________ bug-lilypond mailing list [email protected] https://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-lilypond
