I’ve been to that site, and I’m not sure what I could best do to help out. Try using the Makefile that’s there to build a newer version of LilyPond. See what breaks. Submit a merge request (or at least an issue) so we know we need to fix it.
Alternatively, you may want to help out on the automated build pipeline (which only barely exists right now). If documentation is a problem, *definitely* raise an issue on the GitLab project. I want this to be as approachable as such a complex project can be. OK. These are great suggestions. It may be two weeks or so before I can jump into this. I’m swamped with the end of semester challenges. I’ll give it a go as soon as I can.
