Well, one is probably using mail instead of something fancier because
one only has one window. Many programs have --help and man pages and info, but
still --help is useful without needing to check man pages.

Anyway, often one is using mail on an ancient cu(1) modem line and
might not even have job control... so say what those tidle escapes are
on the same page. It won't cost you too many more bytes.
