Hi there.
A few days ago I raised the question how to find out what is going on in
pop3d, imap4d and mail, as all of them fail expunging deleted mails from
my mailbox with the error message
Error expunging:609: Input/output error
Now I realise that the error no longer occurs. What I did was to perform the
suggested modifications, checking that the problem was still there. Just today
I had to reboot the system and I see that messages are expunged correctly.
So I cannot reproduce the problem, but as long as it's gone I will be happy.
