I have GNU Mailutils 1.2 .
I would like to have pop3d log (to syslog) not merely the number of
messsages in the mailbox, but the number downloaded to the user (as
qpopper does) (either as standard practice or as an option).
I realize that this can be effected with the --transcript or -x
command line switch, but that seems a severe overkill, even recording
passwords, just to know that a download occurred.
I have looked at the documentation for GNU Mailutils 2.0, and do not
see anything better about this there.
