I don’t think mail aliases are working in gnu mail (mail.mailutils). As per the man page, I put an alias like this in my .mailrc:
alias gg ge...@example.com and when I ‘mail gg’, I get an error. I see in the mail log mail is trying to mail gg and not ge...@example.com. I see from strace that mail is in fact reading .mailrc, but for some reason it’s not taking into account the alias in that file.
