Hi Sravanthi; all I can do is repeat the advice I gave you the last time you posted a question like this to the GNU make mailing lists: this problem is in no way related to the use of, or bugs in, GNU make, and as such it's not appropriate for this list. We can't help you.
For errors in compiling code, please contact the owner of that code. For help porting to Linux, you can try various Linux programmers' forums, or ask your Linux distribution vendor (assuming you have purchased support). Or you can use Google. When you do find the right place to ask, please remember to ALWAYS include exactly which version of Linux (distribution) you're using, the EXACT error message you received (cut and paste please), the version of GCC you're using, and any other relevant information. Even on the right list with the right people, they cannot help you if all you say is "my code didn't compile, why not?" which is basically what you've said here. Good luck! _______________________________________________ Bug-make mailing list [email protected] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-make
