Summary: provide a site-start style depot for other .el
providers
Description:
Hi Peter,

As we discussed, it would be nice if the emacs packages provided a
site-start (or similar) directory where other providers of .el/.elc files
could place small elisp snippets that see things hooked into the startup of
every emacs instance.

Thanks
-Ben

>From my point of view, this is intrinsically available in Emacs' directory
tree.
