Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/apache/tools/ant/launch/Launcher ====================================================================== ---------------------------------------------------------------------- (0010606) spm (reporter) - 2013-10-23 18:25 https://www.opencsw.org/mantis/view.php?id=5083#c10606 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- I just upgraded from Ant 1.7.1 and hit this. The ant script checks if the path it is started with is a symbolic link (/opt/csw/bin/ant to /opt/csw/share/java/ant/bin/ant) and calculates ANT_HOME relative to the link destination which is what causes the problem. Using a hard link rather than a symbolic link fixes this.
