The log has the following line: The server quit without updating PID file (/var/opt/csw/mysql5/host.pid). After a cursory exploration I restricted the cause to the first line of /opt/csw/bin/mysqld_safe which is: #!/bin/./ash Can you please correct and test this issue? ======================================================================
