I was attempting to partition my 19g Maxtor Drive
on my Gateway running XP so that I could install Red Hat .
I was using Parted and recieved the following
bug.
Assertion heads < 256 at disk dos c.486 in
function
probe_partion_for_geom() failed.
Do I need to defrag or is it more than
that?
