Hello, sorry to flood the ML with so much stuff, but I feel an urge to discuss each one of these issues.
Here's the next: some weeks ago there was a thread about a new testing framework. The decision afterwards was to use special files that contain single sectors and a table that maps them to a large space. With this we could realize: 1) partition table/boot loader/etc. backup 2) the testing originally intended 3) an easy way to reproduce bugs What I'd like us to do now is talk about the thing in general and the the file format specifically.
