The HTML manual online at http://www.gnu.org/software/parted/manual/html_node/resize.html#resize describes resize as "Resizes the partition with number number."
But the version of the man page for parted at http://www.die.net/doc/linux/man/man8/parted.8.html describes the same as: "resize the _filesystem_ on partition to start at start and end at end megabytes rm partition". Neither documentt gives a clear description of which versions of parted they apply. So which is it? They can't both be right. Does 'resize' apply to the partition, or to the filesystem on the partition? Or are both documents right, but only for different versions of parted? This would be a major difference in how parted works, wouldn't it? __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
