Hello, I have forked a bleeding-edge development version of GNU Parted from 1.8rc2-something. The repository is in Darcs form with all the history preserved. You can check it out, provided you have a working installation of Darcs, with:
darcs get http://viridian-project.de/darcs/parted If you do not wish to check it out with the full history, use '--partial'. For additional comfort, add '--set-scripts-executable'. See http://www.darcs.net/DarcsWiki/ for comprehensive Darcs documentation and feel free to ask when you have questions.
