Hi, Curtis Gedak It really works! Thank you very much! Another question, what device-map lib should I install if needed? I find that my system is already installed with device-mapper-1.02.28-2.el5/device-mapper-event-1.02.28-2.el5/device-mapper- multipath-0.4.7-23.el5. Are these the right device-map lib ?

You could try adding the "--disable-device-mapper" configure option so that device mapper is not used. E.g., ./configure --without-readline --disable-device-mapper Regards, Curtis Gedak
