Thanks for the report. It appears that you're reporting test failures from parted-1.9.0 (based on your Subject:), when run on a gentoo system. parted-1.9 is so old that regression test failures in it are not worth pursuing. If you can repeat the process with the latest from git the details of any test failures would be more useful. Normally, when you follow the recommended build-and-test procedure, you would send in a log with specific details of each test failure.
