Hi Phillip, Thanks for moving this along. I don't know how to shut down the debian repository -- never done that. I'll bet Otavio knows or can find out, Cc'd. The README-release file details the process I follow for parted. It's very similar to the one followed for coreutils, gzip, grep, diffutils, etc. As you may have noticed (recent list traffic), Hendrik's patch is waiting in the wings, pending copyright assignment papers, and if possible, testing by someone with access to the required hardware (like Brian). I'm in the midst of travel and a move, now, so will have little time to help for the next 2-3 weeks. I've added bug-parted@gnu.org in Cc. I've tried to phase out the alioth.debian.org list, too. The bug-parted one is what's mentioned in --help, and thus, should be the one we prefer. Jim
