Hello fellow Patch lovers, I have noticed that work on GNU Patch seems to have dropped off recently and it has been over a year since the last update. I'd like to start contributing bug fixes to the project and, if there are no objections, build & publish a new package to address recent security vulnerabilities in version 2.7.6.
To do this I'd need to get contributor access to the project and I'm wondering who I could speak with in order to help that process along? I'm already fairly familiar with the GNU infrastructure (I also work on the sysvinit project) so this should be a gentle learning curve. Cheers, Jesse Smith
