there doesn't seem to be any docs on the new blink-matching-paren variable. it's mentioned indirectly when discussing the rl_set_paren_blink_timeout setting, but that's it. i guess it should be called out in readline(3) and friends in the variables section.
semi-on topic, it'd be nice if rl_set_paren_blink_timeout were controllable at runtime via inputrc and friends. -mike
