I'm not sure whether this is a bug in date or just inaccuarte documentation. I am running a Red Hat Linux system. The version of date is 2.0. The version of glibc is 2.1.3. According to the info page, "date -d 'next DAY'" should display a date one week after the date displayed by "date -d DAY". But it actually displays the same date. Tim Bagot
