su -l message "file Size limit exceeded"

Hey there,

I get this message since I did the most recent updates for Mandrake 8.0. I
have no clue what might trigger this signal and did not find anything in any
of the log files. I set ulimit to unlimited for all options which apply.
Even so I do not believe it is an su issue it might be very well possible
that you guys know what causes this problem. I am a
Newbie and do not know where I could receive some help. Would you be able to
send me some suggestions?

I would appreciate it very much. It drives me crazy.
