Hi everybody, i just found a minor problem with the localization of GNU date 2.0. I invoked it with the parameter -R to get a rfc822 compatible date and got something like this:
Sam, 12 Jan 2002 02:59:56 +0100 which uses the german localization for the names of days and month. Although RFC 822 doesn't specify explicitly which language should be used, i assume it should be english, so that programmes have no problem parsing the date strings properly. regards - Lars. _______________________________________________ Bug-sh-utils mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-sh-utils
