Hello,
it took us hours to figure out that 'date' needs a correct setting of
the variable 'TZ', as the variable is never even mentioned in date's
documentation (neither info nor manpage).
Could you please add at least one line telling that date depends on
the variable TZ.
Even better would be a pointer to info on it's syntax, e.g.
http://www.opengroup.org/onlinepubs/007908799/xbd/envvar.html
and an example, e.g.
TZ=CET-1CEST-2,M3.5.0/02:00:00,M10.5.0/03:00:002
for Germany (I'm guessing here, but it seems to work).
