I am not sure who I should be emailing. We are using ldap (with an AD[snip]
box) and when I do an ID on a user that is a member of a group that has
more than 116 members, I get the following error: id: ../../../libraries/liblber/io.c:182: ber_free: Assertion
`((ber)->ber_opts.lbo_valid==0x2)' failed.
liblber seems to be part of OpenLDAP. These are the versions I have on my RedHat Linux 8.0 box:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] rich]$ rpm -ql openldap | grep liblber /usr/lib/liblber.so.2 /usr/lib/liblber.so.2.0.17 [EMAIL PROTECTED] rich]$ rpm -q openldap openldap-2.0.27-2.8.0
I think you need to upgrade OpenLDAP or talk to the OpenLDAP people. Perhaps there is a newer release of OpenLDAP that would fix this problem?
Hope that helps, regards,
