As I said, discuss this at the Austin Group if you think there is
a problem. The cpio implementations of GNU, SVR4 etc. and mine work
fine with this, and it is correct according to my interpretation
of the POSIX.1 cpio format specification, so I see no reason to
complain. (Particularly not on the GNU bug-tar mailing list.)
