[Bug-tar] tar 1.16 segmentation fault

I typed (by mistake):
tar czfT x.tgz `cat /tmp/b`

and got:
Segmentation fault

where /tmp/b contains the following five lines:
toc/tb87toc.tex
ltugboat.cfg
confinfo/macros.tex
toc/Makefile
covers/tb87cont.tex

And the contents of the toc/tb87toc.tex file is attached.

This is with tar 1.16, compiled with gcc 4.1.1, GNU/Linux (Red Hat WS4).
