It should be obvious that for this kind of instabilities, either by an
instable kernel interface or by a moved/replaced disk, require a
new level 0 backup.
This is valid not only for GNU tar's simple backup buf also for dump/restore
and for star's incrementals. For the latter two you would notice this
at restore time.
