Hi,
I am working with Amdocs and found one issue with the tar.
In one of the case tar failed, when the number of files for tarring was
around 80K of size range from 20KB to 3MB.
We were using the tar command as follows from the working directory -
tar -cf <TAR-FILE.tar> *.pdf
Please let me know about
1) The limitation for the maximum number of input files to be
tarred
2) The limitation of maximum size of tar file created
3) In case we want to create a tar of 80K files, is there any
option available which can be used.
Your inputs will be very helpful for us to handle this issue.
