The previous status request was sent a month and a half ago and it was said the request would be processed after some time: http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-tar/2014-07/msg00025.html I wouldn't like to press you (I understand you may be busy or may have personal affairs) but I just would like to know the request is not forgotten. -- Vladimir A.
