The man page on my machine (HP9000/840; HPUX 11.x) for tgetent says it =
returns OK (0) or ERR (-1).
What version of texinfo is this? I guess you said it's 3.12.
Please try the latest pretest, which you can get
ftp://alpha.gnu.org/gnu/texinfo.tar.gz. I think this is fixed, although
it's done in a different way, namely by HP-UX recognizing a different
terminal library (one that actually works). Please mail
[EMAIL PROTECTED] if the pretest is broken for you -- I have a few
other HP users who have reported success.
