Hi!

I want to report what I think is a bug ;)

I have installed the GNU texinfo 3.12 (which i think is the latest
version).
My infopath is set to /usr/local/info:/usr/info
In /usr/local/info is a symbolic link named glib.info :

rocko@mazzy:/usr/local/info > l glib.info
lrwxrwxrwx   1 root     root           45 Sep 15 18:42 glib.info ->
../packages/graphic/glib-1.2.4/info/glib.info

Of course, the linked file really exists and is a regular file :

rocko@mazzy:/usr/local/info > l
../packages/graphic/glib-1.2.4/info/glib.info
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 15748 Sep 15 18:41
../packages/graphic/glib-1.2.4/info/glib.info

To add the glib.info file to my info-database, I type (as root) :
mazzy:/usr/local/info # install-info --info-dir=/usr/local/info
glib.info
Segmentation fault

If I set info-dir to . it crashes, too. I don't understand the format of
the info-files, so I attached the concerned file.
My system is a AMD-K6-400 runnning SuSE-Linux 6.2 and kernel 2.2.12
If you need more information, please mail me.

CU, Roman

P.S. If you can't reproduce the error, please mail me, too.
