Hi,

I want your input on two points:

1. I have been wondering about the possibility of creating some user
documents using texinfo. But when I went through the manual on
texinfo using info, I found that I may have to learn quite a bit.
Although I use LaTeX extensively, I haven't used TeX at all. Is
there an easy way for someone who knows LaTeX well to learn
texinfo quickly (I do see a lot of similarities and hence it
should not be too difficult; besides one can always start with a
small effort and graduate to more difficult ones with experience,
but I want to know whether this is the only way or whether there
is a more efficient method). We are thinking of writing user
documents for some public domain numerical packages and thus
could help the GNUs effort in a small way.

2. Is the texinfo node in some sort of a circular buffer? If not
I should come out of it after pressing the space bar enough number
of times - but it does not seem to happen. I am using red hat 5.1.

Regards.

Kannan.
