Hello,
makeinfo --html will generate HTML that does not validate.
Use any texinfo document (or fileutils.texi from fileutils to be specific)
and run it through a validator at http://www.htmlhelp.com/tools/validator/
or http://validator.w3.org/ and it shows some errors.
You will need to pick a doctype too, see
http://www.htmlhelp.com/tools/validator/doctype.html
