What was the package version? I can reproduce it with 4.0-4 and 4.0-5 (the
latter is the latest, and the former is in Debian 2.2).

It has several patches, and all of which are yours and/or gotten from
bug-texinfo. Between 4.0 stock and 4.0-4 there was only one patch against
the non-Debian-package-related files, applied in order to fix

I just tried it[1], and it didn't crash. So it appears that either the
aforementioned patch is causing it, or my configure options, which are:
CFLAGS := -O2 ./configure --prefix=/usr \
--infodir='$${prefix}/share/info' --mandir='$${prefix}/share/man'
Or something else I can't think of :) Could it matter that I don't have libc
info manual installed?

info; ./ginfo --vi-keys libc:exit <pressed the h key, and nothing unexpected
happened>
