Subject: Bug#95084: No hierarchy in PDF bookmarks for appendix

X-Debian-PR-Package: texinfo

Package: texinfo
Version: 4.0-5

The output generated by "texi2dvi --pdf" contains a nicely structured
bookmark tree for chapters, sections and subsections. However, after
an @appendix command in the input, bookmarks for @section seem to be
organized on the same level as bookmarks for @appendix. It would be more
desirable to have the @section bookmarks as children of the preceding
@appendix bookmark, just like @subsection bookmarks are the children of
the preceding @section bookmarks.

The pdftex command is in the tetex-bin package (of which I have
installed version 1.0.7+20001218-3).

With best regards,

        Marko Mkel
