I want to make a suggestion for improving info (I'm using info3.12f).
info has an option for writing the output to a file (--output=FILE)
but I think it should have an option (say --stdout) for sending the
output to the standard output in a non-interactive way. For example this
would allow to do something like that
info --stdout ls | more
in a dumb terminal (for example in the shell window of Joe editor).
Then info would behave in a more Unix-like way.
Also I suggest that info should behave in this way when the terminal is
not powerful enough for runing in an interactive way (for example if the
terminal doesn't support absolute positions)
