Bob Chassell works on many of these files.
He should be listed as the maintainer for the
   ones that he maintains.

   Bob, which files are those?

I maintain texnfo-upd.el to the (low level) people expect of it. No
one else cares about it. (I myself am starting to lose interest in
texnfo-upd.el, since makeinfo does a good job nowadays, unlike 5 or 10
years ago. Because it was once useful, I was against deprecating that
library; but now I think we should consider deprecating it.)

When other problems come up, for example, in texinfo.el, I try fix
them if Karl or someone else has not got to them first.

The texinfo-start-menu-description regex bug never bit me. Someone
else created it and [EMAIL PROTECTED] fixed it before it ever came to my
attention.

Indeed, I have never been able to reproduce that bug. I just checked
again using this morning's CVS sources: the fix that [EMAIL PROTECTED]
made looks fine to me.
