The following texinfo file does not do the right thing,
@i{@b{This is both bold and italicized.}}
@b{@i{This is too, but other order.}}
Thanks for the report, but this is not the way Texinfo works. The font
commands don't combine the way they do in LaTeX.
In fact there is no command to get bold italic type, although it would
be fairly easy to add. What do you actually want to use it for?
