install-info: unrecognized option `--infodir=/sw/share/info'
The option should be:
--info-dir=/sw/share/info
But I do not know where the script containing this error is. What can I
do?
I don't know where the script is either, it depends on what you were
doing. AFAIK, this is a difference between the Debian install-info and
the Texinfo install-info. It is extremely unfortunate that these two
different programs both have the same name. I'm going to add --infodir
as an option to the Texinfo install-info in the next release.
Meanwhile, the easiest fix is probably either to adjust your path to use
the debian install-info (if you have it), or write a trivial
install-info that changes --infodir to --info-dir and calls the Texinfo one.
