Hello all,
the texinfo manual suggests that non-breakable space should be
poroduced by ``@w{ }''. From the perspective of TeX output, this is
wrong. The space produced is not only non-breakable but it also has
fixed width. By making this mistake, texinfo falls into the same
cathegory as Microsoft Word. It is intolerable for any system which
aspires to be used in professional typography.
Though I'd be able to find a suitable kludge if I were responsible
for a book produced from texinfo source, it would be best if no kludges
were necessary.
Please update texinfo _and_ the texinfo manual accordingly.

I apologize if my tools are not up to date and the issue is already fixed.

Regards,
        Stepan Kasal
